Thanking God for “25 years in His hands”

         Wycliffe Thai, if likened to a person, is like any any other person who has grown up with the love, kindness and care of parents and guardians. We have come through the past 25 years with the love, kindness and care of churches, of those who love God and of mission agencies who want to see all peoples have access to God’s Word in the language which they can most easily understand through reading, listening or seeing.

          In whatever we do, we at Wycliffe Thai desire to act according to the heart of God. God cares for the nations as we can see in the Bible - starting from Genesis right up to Revelation. God uses His people to bring His salvation to the nations, and in the end, we will see that picture of the nations before the throne of the Lamb. “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’“ (Revelation 7:9-10 NIV)

           We at Wycliffe Thai are aware that for the past 25 years, Wycliffe Thai has been protected and embraced in His Hands. God has led, protected and provided. And He will continue to do so for the next 25 years, as He has promised: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 NIV)
